About

Christopher J. Moses, Denali NP

My interest in photography started when I was 8 years old. Polaroid-Land, 35mm, 110 film, and Super 8...

Today I'm an award-winning professional full-time photographer, instructor, and member of Nikon Professional Services and Canon Professional Services.

I live in the North Carolina Piedmont town of Chapel Hill in the Meadowmont neighborhood and work nearby at the University of North Carolina and also teach at Central Carolina Community College in Pittsboro, NC.

Some of the locations I've photographed include the 1000's Islands, NY, London, England, Seoul, South Korea, Blue Ridge Parkway, NC, Great Smokies National Park, TN, Grand Canyon National Park, AZ, Zion National Park, UT, Bryce Canyon NP, UT, Similan Islands, Andeman Sea, Thailand, Denali National Park, AK, Kenai Fiords National Park, AK, and the Big Island of Hawaii.

My clients include the School of Information and Library Science, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Botanical Garden, Chapel Hill, NC, Central Carolina Community College, Redress Raleigh, Raleigh, NC, Pittsboro, NC and The Arts Center, Carrboro, NC, Full Frame Documentary Film Festival, Durham, NC and the Click Photography Festival, Durham, NC.

As a photographer, I've participated in a number of juried competitions including a fun favorite, the Grandfather Mountain Nature Photography Contest. As a photographic coach, I seek to guide and inspire learners on their photographic adventures.

I strive to make images that capture the emotion and meaning of an event. I enjoy working with clients to develop the concept and the story told by the images we make together.
